The expected impact of the EFT project is going to concern various stakeholders such as students, teachers and schools. Additionally, it will exert an influence on other stakeholders who are not going to be engaged in the project directly but are going to be contacted as experts such as town councils, experts from relevant organisations (e.g. Fair Trade) or firms.

EFT project will have several lasting outcomes on the participating students. Although they come from a lot of different places they share similar values. The project will make them look at the world and the EU from a different perspective and see their global issues as their personal issues as well as take success from one curricular area to others.

A plethora of basic and transversal skills ranging from Critical Thinking, Evaluation, English Language, Presentation, Discussion and Debating, Planning, Researching, ICT use, Analysis and Investiigation, as well as Cooperation skills will be developed. They are going to be helpful both in career planning and on-the-job effective work as well as to live meaningful lives as European Citizens.

Working on the project participants are going to recognise the importance of fairness and equity as well as plural society. Students will also try to develop solutions to fight inequality and poverty in the EU and the world being aware that the process should start on the local level and then develop into the national and global one.

Students will also gain profound knowledge about the idea of Fair Trade and how it can solve many of the contemporary Europe's problems e.g. by providing fair wages, avoiding overexploitation of workers, protecting the environment and improving the job prospects. The knowledge will help them to deal with the present and future problems of their local communities as well as Europe more efficiently.

Moreover, by working in multinational groups and visiting other countries students will experience other cultures and will profit from raising their European awareness and cultural competences.
